Recent job – Goblins and Nuts

Hello there! Here is my recent animation work that it have been broadcasting once every week on NHK Japanese TV program that is called Shakiin. I worked as a character designer and animator. (Not good looking pictures above.. my bad!)

It is one of the segments of the show which is count-quiz: which group of goblins get more nuts, its difficulty is risen a bit by bit through the season.

Somehow I cannot stop adore those cuties even though I created them!

Thankfully, Boats on the Grassland was screened in the International Block of ASIFA-South Animation Conference & Festival that is the first time to be shown in the US continent! This festival has been running for 15 years long in some different areas of the US, and this ASIFA-South festival was held in Atlanta. Winner’s animations are amazingly sophisticated!

Although the festival was already finished in the end of August and I could not come over there unfortunately, I got a title of “Semi-Finalist” Thank you guys!

THE KING OF GAMES – Anniversary animation

It’s already July, summer is here, but my surroundings is so stormy! Is typhoon coming? And here is announcement about my recent work..

I directed an animation for THE KING OF GAMES ‘ s 15th anniversary exhibition. They are a Japanese apparel design company with official licensing from Nintendo to design, produce and retail a range of video game-themed t-shirts and other clothing. There are a bit of their history and process of T-shirt production in the animation.

Thanks to them, I enjoyed to create this from scratch to finish.
And also big thanks to Ally Mobbs‘s amazing sound designing and composing.

If you are one of the freaks of Nintendo, why don’t you check their website!
